Vandaag is Taylor's nieuwe single 'Out Of The Woods' uitgekomen en dit nummer lijkt over haar relatie met Harry Styles te gaan…
In een interview met Rolling Stone vertelt Taylor over het nummer en over wat voor soort relatie het gaat: "This was a relationship where I was kind of, living day to day, wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day. It was a relationship where you, kind of, never feel like you’re standing on solid ground…"
Het liedje gaat dus over de kwetsbaarheid van sommige relaties. Hoewel Taylor gedurende de relatie erg bang was, betekent het niet dat de zangeres er spijt van heeft: “This song is about the fragility of some relationships. Musically, I wanted to convey that kind of frantic feeling of wondering. This song stresses that even if the relationship is breakable and fragile, it doesn’t mean it isn’t worthwhile and beautiful and all the things we look for.”
