Een jongen op Girlscene?! Dat ben ik! Ik heb de eer om als enige jongen mij in de mysterieuze meisjeswereld die Girlscene heet te mengen. Schrik niet, ik zal alleen eens in de maand een column schrijven, de toegang tot het forum is mij ontzegd! Hoe dit allemaal begon?

Zoals jullie weten heeft Girlscene sinds kort een gouden tip-lijn. Daarin werd meerdere keren gevraagd om een jongenscolumn. Laat redactrice Esmée nou net een broertje hebben: dat ben ik dus! Ik ben Sven, 20 jaar, woon in Alkmaar en ik zit nu in mijn derde jaar van mijn studie fysiotherapie. Om wat centen bij elkaar te sprokkelen, werk ik als privéchauffeur, ik hou namelijk van autorijden. Verder ben ik net begonnen met gitaarspelen, echt super leuk! Ik heb een vriendin die net met haar hbo-opleiding is begonnen en zij is ook een Girlscene’r!
Ik wil schrijven over onderwerpen die jongens bezighouden, die meisjes zich afvragen of dingen die jongens niet begrijpen van meisjes.

Ik steek meteen maar van wal met zo’n laatste punt. Jullie term: zithakken.

Met dit (tot op vier weken geleden) voor mij onbekende woord, kwam mijn vriendin aanzetten. Toen ik het hoorde zag ik een aantal combinaties voor me; hakken waar je op of in kunt zitten, hakken die lekker zitten, erg breekbare hakken waar je niet mee mag of kan lopen, maar hakken die voor geen meter lopen en dus vooral gemaakt zijn om er mee te zitten, is iets waar ik met mijn hoofd niet bij kan. En dat bedoel ik niet positief maar eerder als onbegrijpelijk. Zijn hakken dan een accessoire geworden? Nou vind ik het altijd al komisch als een meisje zegt dat zij prima op hakken kan lopen en even later terugkomt op flatjes. Wie hou je dan voor de gek? Toch wil ik niet het idee geven dat ik niet van meisjes met hakken hou, want als jongens iets mooi vinden is dat het wel (niet te hoog….je maakt ons bang). Hakken staan juist vrouwelijk en ze geven een elegante uitstraling. Daarnaast begrijp ik echt wel dat je geen zin hebt om het vuil tussen de straatstenen uit te schrapen en je enkels te breken en dus gewoon op platte schoenen loopt en op feestjes je hakken pas aantrekt.

Helaas hebben meiden de rare hersenkronkel, dat als zij pumps mooi vinden, het blijkbaar niet uitmaakt of ze lekker zitten. En ze vergeten ook dat ze er al écht genoeg hebben! Maar meiden hebben nooit genoeg schoenen. Waarom is dat? Inmiddels is Zalando de startpagina van mijn vriendin en kan mijn zus iedere dag van het jaar een ander paar aan doen. Als jij je vrouwelijker voelt is dat natuurlijk ook belangrijk, maar wint het vrouwelijke gevoel van de pijn in de voeten?
