DIY: Multifunctioneel leren bandje

Soms kun je heel blij zijn met een nieuwe aankoop. Al is het een ketting of armbandje van € 3,-. Als twee weken later blijkt dat de halve school met hetzelfde sieraad loopt, is voor jou de lol er al gauw af. Jij wilt uniek zijn! Met dit multifunctionele Do It Yourself bandje ben je dat zeker!

Voor dit DIY bandje heb je nodig:
- een hamer
- een revolverponstang (wordt vaak gebruikt om gaatjes in riemen te maken)
- een stuk leer
- (metalen) letter stempels
- (bruine) schoensmeer
- een oude doek
- (leren) touwtjes
- veertjes, kralen of een andere leuke versiering

Aan de slag:
Knip het leer in rechthoekige plaatjes en stempel daar, met behulp van de hamer, leuke woorden op. Het maakt niet uit als dit niet helemaal recht gaat, dit hoort juist een beetje bij dit bandje.

Als je uitgestempeld bent, wrijf dan met een oude doek wat schoensmeer over het plaatje. Dit geeft een ‘old looking’ effect.

Maak aan beide zijkanten gaatjes met de revolverponstang. Als je dit stuk gereedschap niet hebt, gebruik dan een scherpe spijker en sla hier met de hamer op. Knoop de leren touwtjes door de gaatjes heen.

Snuffel eens in je sieradenkistje. Er liggen vast leuke oude (veertjes) oorbellen tussen, die je als versiering voor het bandje kunt gebruiken.

Niet alleen is dit leren bandje leuk als armband, je kunt hem bijvoorbeeld ook als kaarsversiering gebruiken.

Zo maak je heel eenvoudig een multifunctioneel, stoer en uniek bandje!

Ook is dit leren bandje leuk om cadeau te doen aan familie of vrienden. En al helemaal met de feestdagen! Stempel er een lief wensje op, en je heb een superleuk, persoonlijk cadeautje.

Die hamer heeft je vader wel, schoensmeer heeft elk huishouden en anders koop/leen je het(of niet, niet eens noodzakelijk), wie heeft er geen oud t-shirt om te gebruiken als doek? wie heeft er nou geen schoenmaker in de buurt die graag gratis twee gaatjes in wat leer dut of anders heb je zelf wel een spijker. die letterdingen kunnen moeilijk vindbaar te zijn voor mensen die niet zoeken, die hebben ze op de meeste (basis)scholen, hobbywinkels buurtcentra etc.
